The works on Sümbüllü Valley Boulevard, which is one of the projects that will radically improve the urban transport of Kahramanmaraş, continue without slowing down. Mayor of Metropolitan Municipality Fatih Mehmet Erkoç stated that as the project is nearing the completion stage, Sümbüllü Boulevard will become one of the most important transport arteries of the city.
As emphasised by Mayor Erkoç, this new boulevard will be a strategic transition point that will connect the western and eastern parts of Kahramanmaraş. It will relieve the city’s transport network by significantly reducing the traffic load on Sümbüllü Boulevard, Şekerdere Boulevard and Ağcalı Boulevard. The boulevard, which attracts attention with its quality slope design, will bring prestige to Kahramanmaraş and will add a new vision to our city by connecting the west of the city with its centre.
Sümbüllü Boulevard, which is under construction in Sümbüllü Valley and will connect the west of the city on the north-south route, will form an important transport bridge between Bahçeci Hoca Boulevard (Tekerek Road) and Av. Mehmet Ali Kısakürek Street (Andırın Street) in Haydarbey Neighbourhood. Mayor of Metropolitan Municipality Erkoç closely follows the works for the rapid progress and timely completion of the project, regularly meets with the teams and receives information about the progress.
The Sümbüllü Boulevard project, which will modernise the transportation network of Kahramanmaraş and change the face of the city, stands out as a development that will positively affect not only the traffic flow but also the social and economic dynamics of the city when completed.
