The 2nd Regional Directorate of the General Directorate of Highways is realising our project to ensure uninterrupted transportation on the highway connecting Çanakkale and İzmir. As part of our project, the New Petkim Interchange, which will be built in the area between Pet-Lim and Nemport ports, is planned to serve all ports in the Nemrut Region.
Our project, which has been on Aliağa’s agenda for a long time with great anticipation, will put an end to the long queues formed by trucks on the Izmir – Çanakkale road, especially during peak working hours. Our project, which will bring an important solution to the traffic problem of Aliağa thanks to the interchange and road arrangement to be made, will significantly relieve the traffic flow of the region.
The works, which will start on 31 August Wednesday, are planned to be completed within 300 days and the intersection will be put into service. In addition, the New Petkim Interchange will be integrated into the planned Menemen – Aliağa motorway with a connection road. Our project aims to provide a modern and permanent solution to the traffic problems in Aliağa.
